Founded in the waning days of the Dragonsong War, the Stormslayer Trading Company was born of Ishgardian resolve. It now endures beneath the steady hand of the Lady Ophelia Fortemps-Stormslayer, who saw fit to carry forth her family's dreams—to unite artisans and traders under a single banner of integrity and purpose.Now headquartered upon the sunlit coasts of La Noscea, the Company thrives as a conduit of commerce and camaraderie. From the mines of Thanalan to the forges of Ishgard, and the bustling ports of Limsa Lominsa, The Company deals in fine goods, raw materials, and masterful craftsmanship, employing some of the most skilled hands and keenest minds across all of Eorzea.Here, one's worth is not measured by title or birthright, but by the craft of their hand and the strength of their word. Whether noble or commonborn, all who labor in honesty and heart find welcome within our ranks. Our core purpose is to forge connections through craftsmanship, creativity, and collaboration—using trade and talent as the threads that weave people together. Our headquarters are located on Marilith with active outposts on Bismarck, Zalera, and Behemoth, offering welcoming spaces for players seeking community closer to home.The Stormslayer Trading Co. is proudly a community that supports LGBTQ+, is neurodivergent-friendly, low-drama, and full of folks just trying to stay hydrated, well-fed, and always learning.Roleplay and lore are at the heart of what we do. We’re an in-character community focused on trade and market-style RP. We favor third-person, paragraph-style writing with strong, character-driven dialogue.Our setting allows some lore flexibility, but MSQ lore is considered hard canon. If you’re bending the lore (Voidsent, Ascian, androids, resurrected NPCs, etc.), you need a solid, believable backstory to support it.All RP styles are welcome—solo, group, or private—as long as you’re not disrupting ongoing scenes or business. Party chat is fine for more private interactions.We’re here to have fun, but this isn’t VRChat. Respect people’s time. Come ready to RP when you show up. If you’re not feeling it, just sit it out—no pressure.Not every character or story will click with you, and that’s fine. Just be respectful. No one owes interaction, and quiet presence in venues is completely okay.If we’re not around, feel free to use the space. Keep things classy (SFW), and if you enjoy it, spread the word in your circles.
