Below is information for Venue Co-Ownership and Company Membership Applications.
Please take the time to read before applying.
Venue Co-Ownership Information
All Venues in the Stormslayer RP Community are SFW and will not be changing. Please keep that in mind before applying.
All venues must be scheduled to open at least twice a month. They may open more if they wish, but we want to honor their time and RP freedoms. If they need assistance or a sabbatical, they should reach out to us and discuss either taking a break or stepping away from ownership.
Will be responsible for managing and running the RP in the venue. Leadership will be around to support and provide RP as available, but will be customers unless the venue owner needs them.
Will be responsible for marketing and advertising of the venue. Leadership will, of course, support and help when needed. We're not against owners hiring artists and other vendors to help build out the venue, within reason. Venue owners may not use Generative AI for marketing and advertising, and Leadership will help offset this by providing verified artists and, if needed, handle their commission fees to support the work.
The Venue will be given a monthly budget for paying staff via Gil only. If the owner exceeds the budget, they must offset the difference with their own Gil unless leadership pre-approves it.
All venues are fully furnished, but if a venue co-owner wants the place refurnished, leadership and the owner will share the costs 50/50. The exception is the Greystone Wine Bar and Scholar's Crossing, where we can change furnishings but not the venue layout.
Leadership must pre-approve all venue changes. We're flexible and open to new creative looks, and if you have a designer who uses certain specialty tools, we can accommodate that within reason.
Both the Co-Owner and Leadership may terminate the partnership at any time, for any reason. However, all venue locations will remain with the Stormslayer RP Community, and the Co-Owner will not be permitted to use the property. Within reason, leadership will provide any items/gil they earned upon separation, provided they left on good terms with us and did not violate FFXIV's Code of Conduct or Terms of Service.
Co-Owners will represent the Company, so while you are free to be who you are, be advised that you are not free from the consequences of your behavior. If we discover that a Co-Owner is doing or behaving in ways that harm our community, we will terminate immediately after investigating and verifying the facts.

Company Membership Application Information
All RP will generally be in English, except during special events where we will use other languages; we will tell all parties in advance.
All Company Members must be 18+ in both IC and OOC. No exceptions will be made.
We are a roleplay community focused on Entrepreneurship in Trades, Trade Negotiations/Trade Politics, Research and development related to trades, and Artisan Crafting/Gathering. We may have some adventurer elements and do some expeditions from time to time, but be advised: we are not an Adventurers Guild, and we will never strive to be.
If you are looking for an Adventurers Guild/Adventurers Free Company, we can't meet that need for you. But that's ok!! We have plenty of partners who run that style of RP, and we love them dearly! If you're looking for that, we are happy to connect you with them, and you are still welcome to be part of our community as a member if you want to focus on the parts mentioned above.
We expect all members to RP in a long-form, in-character format with a proper, sound backstory. If you are new, rusty, or struggle with the social aspect of RP due to neurodivergence, that's ok; we are flexible and will support you as you build up your chops. But small, non-descript answers and "Look at my Carrd" are not acceptable RP options. Company members are expected to hold a conversation with everyone they meet.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for bullying, harassment, racism, sexism, negative rumormongering, intentional ragebaiting, or witch hunting. We will kick you from the Company and Discord if we find you doing this. If you have a problem with someone and you can't talk it out with them, reach out to Leadership and let us handle it. Act right, as this is your only warning.
DO NOT JOIN US IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN ACTIVE PARTNER IC OR OOC. We are not here for that, and while we understand relationships may naturally happen in the course of RP and IRL, if the relationship goes south, we will remain impartial and RP with ALL PARTIES as long as no other community values are broken or dishonored. If things disrupt company business, we will pull people aside and take disciplinary action on a case-by-case basis. Please be mindful of your behavior and intentions in joining our company.
We strongly follow the "Real Life Always Comes First" philosophy here. Please communicate if you are in the middle of scenes/story arcs and need support to step away, but know that we aren't going anywhere. The RP will be here when you are ready to come back. In the same vein: Eat real food, drink water, take your meds, go outside and take walks, talk to non-gamer people, PLEASE FUCKING SLEEP. These are all important to your well-being and the quality of your RP, so please make sure to do them!
Members are expected to participate in active RP Community functions at least once a month to keep their active status. Active in company functions doesn't just mean going to a market once a month as a character (although it does help!). This includes contributing to company storylines, assisting with company growth IC through events hosted by leadership, taking part in Discord RP, etc. If life is happening, reach out so we can put you on reserves until you are ready to return!
Members may choose to be a Company member of Stormslayer, Farwake, or a Trade Warden, and may transfer once every 60 days.
Company Members will represent the Company, so while you are free to be who you are, be advised that you are not free from the consequences of your behavior. If we discover that a member is doing or behaving in ways that harm our community as a whole OOC, we will investigate and verify the facts before acting, but action will be taken. We are desirous of building an open and comfortable space for all members, and that takes priority over anything else.

Our Community Values
Showing Up MATTERS: Effort, consistency, and engagement matter more to us than you have the nicest, most up-to-date Carrd/RP Hub Profile. Don't just write your backstory and expect us to read it before RPing with you. Be ready to answer questions and have a real conversation with us. Treat every encounter in our community as if the person you are talking to has no idea who you are and what you want. (Even if they do.) We don't mind if you are new or rusty in RP, but showing up to events and being part of our community in Discord/game will help you feel more like a part of it, and who knows where your character may end up with us?THINK BEFORE YOU RP! Your Actions have Consequences! : If your character makes bold or reckless choices, consequences will follow. That’s not us being unfair; that’s the story working as intended. It’s your responsibility to navigate or repair what your character creates and/or breaks. Also, if your character is an asshole to everyone, you don't get the right to cry when people don't engage with your character, or if people bite back at your attitude. That is a problem for YOU to resolve, not the community.We love you all - but this ain't VR Chat. Please don't treat it as such: This is a SFW 18+ Community. We are all adults, with lives and jobs outside of Eorzea. We enjoy hanging out OOC, but please respect our time and come prepared to RP when engaging with us in character. We don’t mind if you are rusty or slow with your responses, but respect the time, respect the RP.Ishgardian Founded - But Not Ishgardian RP Strict: We are a community founded in Ishgard, with ties in Ishgard, and a reverence for Ishgardian Culture. Etheirys Blitzball League
The Etheirys Blitzball League, or EBL, is an RP competitive league that unites teams, sponsors, fans, and communities through Blitzball games. The 13 teams from all over Etheirys, that make up the League, play from July to November in competition for the Crystal Cup. The Stormslayer Trading Co. is honored to be a league sponsor, cheering on all the teams of the star and facilitating new RP opportunities for all!

Hati's Fish and Tackle Shops
Luwalhati traveled from her home in Malaya, in the Anguna Archipelago, in search of new opportunities after a series of events caused her to leave her homeland. In pursuit of that new opportunity, she decided to put her angling hobby to use and became a fishmonger to supplement her income from mercenary work and from being a part-time crew member for merchant sailors.It has now led to the creation of two amazing shops, one in The Goblet with Community Grandmother Lady Senkyo and her very own Fish Emporium in The Mists.
